Progressive Muscle Relaxation: checklist for complete training sequence
- Right hand and forearm: fist
- Right upper arm: "show off muscles"
- Left hand and forearm
- Left upper arm
- Forehead: raise eyebrows
- Eyes and cheeks: squeeze eyes
- Mouth and jaw: clench teeth and pull back the corners of the mouth
- Shoulder and neck: pull up shoulders and press head against their resistance
- Chest and back: breathe in, hold the breath and press shoulders back
- Belly: tighten or draw in
- Right hand thigh: shovel forward
- Right hand shank: lift heel
- Right foot: crook toes
- Left hand thigh
- Left hand shank
- Left foot
