Topic review - flexibility test

We did the sit and reach test with the National Under 21 team. This is where a players has to sit, legs flat on the ground, toes up. The feet are resting against a horizontal board with cm markings.

The test is how far players can reach beyond their toes.

0 = average
-10 = poor
10 = good

Most of our team scored between poor and average....... We also did the test once before and after warming up and at the end of a training session. Interesting to see how players respond and realise that a good warmup improves your mobility.

I was wondering if you could send me any more flexibility tests information that you have, and also do you have the required norms for each of these tests. What is an acceptable standard poor average excellent etc. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou
