A serious injury! Lots of programs exist however I am too far away from your problem to give you advice. Can you get physio involved? In general, spine problems seem to come from weak back and stomach muscles, perhaps develop a program to develop those could be part from a rehab plan?

During the past year I have suffered with a disc problem in the lower part of my spine. This creates enormous pain in the back and hinders me from playing the rugby. In a few weeks the problem will be rectified through operation. Is there any advice, for a scrum half like myself, that can be suggested for the rehabilitation E.g. - nutrition, fitness, strength. I have gained two stone in weight and altered my eating habits for the worst.
