SOmebody pointed me to the RFU website, I have a copy of LTAD booklet on the Free Stuff section of my website. Interesting stuff and helpfull for those who are setting up a program. Perhaps an idea to set-up a section on the site....

Stages are:

STAGE 1
FUNDAMENTAL MOVEMENT SKILLS

STAGE 2
FUNDAMENTAL RUGBY SKILLS

STAGE 3
BUILDING THE POTENTIAL RUGBY SPECIFIC CORE SKILLS

STAGE 4
OPTIMISING THE POTENTIAL RUGBY POSITIONAL AND UNIT SKILLS

STAGE 5
MAXIMISING THE POTENTIAL

STAGE 6
RECRUIT, RETAIN, RETRAIN, THROUGHOUT LIFE

We want to use this model with the NRB, anybody some examples for the adaption for rugby? One of the first things we need to do is review the age limits of the different categories.

Would like to hear!
