Sorry to keep you hanging.

Sponsoring is difficult. It starts with begging for money, fans or former members will give you some money.

Next is thinking form the sponsors perspective: what does he gets out of it? Things we are doing:

[list]attach the sponsors name to the club: the actual name, letterheads, boarding around the pitch

connect the sponsor to the positive aspects of rugy: respect etc. The sponsor can advertise with that

sponsors events: for his employees of his clients: sponsor diners, teambuilding sessions etc. You will be amazed how much outsiders actually enjow throwing a rugby ball around!![/list]


Be careful: make somebody in the club responsible for the relation, do not "disappear" after you received the cash...

Can I ask you if you have any sample sponsorship proposals for clubs in start up mode?

We need money and the players and I pay for everything ourselves. It would be nice to get some equipment and a scrum machine is a dream....
