Topic review - Why so many tests?

Hello Cameron,

Yes, the loss of consistency makes it difficult to compare results. For our version of the test we use the original stage timings. There is a shortened version. This was developed because coaches felt the players were totally exhausted after the test and valuable training time was lost.

One of the features of our software is that you can "program" the stage timings you have used in the past, this way you can stay consistent with earlier results of tests you took.

Using tapes is not providing consistent results either: the tape gets stretched and the correct timing is lost.

If you have tables with different timings we are very interested in them!

Hello Coach,

I am a soccer coach and I have used the Beep test and the Multi Stage tests. Why so many difference on the stages between this tests when compared, including with your for Rugby?

It makes difficult to stay consistent, reliable or accurate.

Thank you

Cameron
