Post subject: React to wrong decision?

Last game the referee mist the obvious forward pass and it costs us the game. We could have turned it around but the players were too upset. How to change this?

Yes, good opportunity to discuss the Circle One: within this inner circle only your individual performance is relevant. The referee and his decision are in an other circle. Basically it is Task Orientation all over again.....

The circles of orientation is a model developed by Rico Schuijers both for coaches and players.

In your situation, if your players had accepted the outcome of the referee decision (the try against) and focussed on their kick-off you ight have had that turn-around.
