Saw the Blues playing Wasps on the BBC yesterday. It was a great game to watch with some good tries. What was interesting that some of them were made with creativity hardly seen in the Premiership anymore. A fly-half in his own 22 looks like he is going for touch, then makes a dummy and when everybody thinks he is going for touch he breaks and sets up the eventual try.
Another example was Lewsey who dummied and turned out of the tackle.
When the full-time rugby jobs for both players and coaching staff seem to have brought the game to predictable, risk free, over-coached rugby - yesterday promised a different view.
Another interesting point: all the Welsh internationals looked fresh and eager: the WRU policy of 35 games max per season for their Elite Players seems to pay off.......
