Hello Martin, do you recommend any equipment for the vertical jump test?

I have used the special mat with cord that is attached to a belt you put on. Now there are all sorts of fancy contact mats, computing the height of the jump from your hang-time.

The DIY version is pulling a cord attached to your waist through a fixed loop. Measure the difference between before and after the jump.
