If you can the software package on my site turns your laptop into a beeptest machine - you will need a couple of speakers though...

As Bitworks is has released Team Beeptest, this version helps you with recording data and tracking progress.

We are looking for testresults. This way I can help you comparing your teams result with those in my database.

Let's help each other....

I upgraded to Team Beep test and ran the test using this tool, very handy indeed! Can I bring my previous test results into the tool in order to display those results as well?

Bitworks has released version 2.6 of the software. The big change is you can now enter your own testset. Deviate form the standard protocol. Some coaches start at Level 9 for instance.

Please let us know what you think,

I've got TeamBeep up and running and have done a few test runs. I have a few questions:

1. I am running Windows Vista and have no access to the help page, is there any way I can see a copy of this?

2. When I select save results, where are they saved?

3. How do I see the results in table format rather than just the graph?

4. How can I run this for several teams? I've tried to add a team but all it did was cancel out the first team results.

5. Is putting the weight of each player in relevant?

Must admit, so far this looks quite limited and does not beat a clip board.

Regards,
Brian

Bought the team version - looks very promising. I will be using it tonight with my rugby team.

I have run a few tests but will use a manual system alongside.

One thing that I was keen to use was the gym test element, but the start gym test button does not appear on the screen where it is supposed to according to the pdf help file. I am using Win XP sp2. Any ideas anyone?

I will be analysing and publishing team and individual data in excel and will report back to this forum.

Hi Brian,

Thanks for getting back to us, here are answers to your questions:

1. I am running Windows Vista and have no access to the help page, is there any way I can see a copy of this?
Will email a pdf document, covers all the team beeptest usage & functions .

2. When I select save results, where are they saved?
Into the players.txt file, same directory as your team beeptest exe file.

3. How do I see the results in table format rather than just the graph?
The players.txt can be viewed in any text editor, or word processing (which can convert to a table). Martin of rugbycoach converts the players.txt to excel but cannot see any real advantage unless excel is already being used.

4. How can I run this for several teams? I've tried to add a team but all it did was cancel out the first team results.
Just copy the whole beeptest directory to another name i.e.. xyzU18BeepTest, TeamBBeepTest any name and as many teams as you need. The whole application and associated files only come upto around 1Mb so your not using much disk space, then you can have separate players.txt files (upto 25 players) for each team.

5. Is putting the weight of each player in relevant?
This was requested by the Dutch Sports Science people, Martin can tell you more ...

Please email/call if you have any follow-up questions.
Best Regards
Ian
