The Learner Lab
Learn to train like a Jungle Tiger? Visit the Trevor Regan’s Learner Lab website! I was already keen on the material of Carol Dweck, but Trevor delivered some great metaphors and make it much more presentable to players.
Lots of material like wallpapers, complete workshop documents and of course a great podcast series.
LTAD Canada
The “Sport for Life” program works to create whole system change by the creation of resources, educating, training, and mentoring / Improving programming.
In the Netherlands our NOC embraced the LTAD model to get the associated union organised their talent development programs. I still refer to their resources to guide me in my work with rugby clubs and their development programs. They now offer a comprehensive suite of services, programs and tools, the most famous one the LTAD model.
World Rugby
World Rugby has lots of resources for us coaches in the World Rugby coaching section. When you enlist in the education plans of your union you will be part of this. But also without the formal education you have access to lots of resources. Passport is your gateway to the training and education web sites provided by World Rugby. Registering for a World Rugby Passport gets you access to online accreditation on a range of topics. Examples are law education, concussion protocols to physical preparation.
The Rugby Site
The Rugby Site has now a fantastic range of videos of all aspects rugby. Lots of famous coaches and players set-up this huge library of coaching material for you to browse.
New content is added weekly, sometime difficult to soak all up!
Well worth the investment.
